Cass Co., MO – Crash at Rte A and E Pine St Leaves One Hurt

Cass County, MO (February 25, 2025) – Authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route A and East Pine Street in Cass County at around 4:11 p.m. on February 22.

A 2015 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling northbound when it entered the intersection in front of a westbound 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Tahoe collided with the Jetta, causing severe damage to the smaller vehicle. The Jetta sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by J’s Southland, while the Tahoe had moderate damage but was able to be driven away.

The driver of the Jetta, a 51-year-old man from Archie, Missouri, was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. A 55-year-old female passenger in the Jetta sustained minor injuries. She was treated at the scene for her injuries. The driver of the Tahoe, a 39-year-old man from Raymore, Missouri, was also properly restrained and was not reported injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
