Springfield, MO – Two-Vehicle Crash on US 160 Leaves One Injured

Springfield, MO (February 27, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on US 160 in Springfield left one person injured Thursday morning. The accident happened at around 10:10 a.m. within the city limits, prompting emergency crews to respond to the scene.

According to reports, a 31-year-old man was driving a 2018 Jeep Renegade eastbound when he attempted to turn left onto US 160. During the turn, he was struck by an eastbound 2013 Buick Enclave, driven by a 76-year-old man. Both vehicles sustained damage in the crash.

Emergency medical personnel assessed the drivers, and the Jeep’s driver was transported to Cox South Hospital with injuries. The Buick’s driver did not report any injuries at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
